Mount Ararat obsidian was formed 4 million years ago by the natural vitrification of silica-laden lava flows.

Dark and transparent, it is highly sought-after for its sedimentary patterns, which make each stone unique. Zebras, oxidation and pearlite tips give it a real personality.

The Workshop
