The “Fire Goat” humidor celebrates the year of the Ding Wei
(2027) through a composition inspired by the serenity and determination of this symbolic animal. The goat moves fearlessly through a cold fire, whose flames unfurl in varying shades of blue.The marquetry plays with wood species, colors, and textures to bring the scene to life. The coat combines French walnut, tamo, and natural sycamore, while the hooves, muzzle, and eye contours are crafted from black-stained sycamore. The horns blend smoked eucalyptus and black-stained sycamore, and the mother-of-pearl
eyes add a subtle sparkle to its gaze. The background, composed of natural and blue-stained sycamores, complements the movement of the silhouette and the flames.Created using the fine cabinetmaking expertise of Elie Bleu, the humidor is carefully shaped, varnished, and polished in the Maison’s workshops.
